Our client is experiencing sustained growth and seeks experienced Party Wall Chartered Building Surveyor for their expanding Building Consultancy team in Bristol.
 
Job Purpose
We are looking for a Party Wall / Building Surveyor to join our Building Consultancy team in Bristol. The role includes advising clients on a wide range of services such as party wall matters, building surveys, dilapidations, defects analysis, assessments, licenses for alterations, schedules of conditions, contract administration, and project management for diverse property types, including commercial, retail, healthcare, and heritage sectors.
The successful candidate will be a chartered surveyor at a senior level, actively participating in networking events, client development, and involvement with local groups and professional bodies.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate across Neighbourly Matters and Building Consultancy teams.
  • Handle various professional tasks, including Party Wall matters, dilapidations, technical due diligence acquisition surveys, schedules of condition, PPMs, and feasibility studies.
  • Advise clients on property issues, covering technical, financial, legal, environmental/sustainability, building regulation, and restoration aspects.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate instructions for external consultants to perform planned maintenance and structural surveys.
  • Create reports for building consultancy projects and present findings to clients.
Person Specification:
  • Chartered (or equivalent suitable qualification)
  • Senior surveyor level
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full clean driving license
  • Experience predominantly in the commercial sector
