We are recruiting for a well-known brand, seeking an experienced, passionate, and entrepreneurial professional to join their London-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a highly regarded firm's next phase of growth, especially within the context of the Building Safety Act, the Hackitt Review, and the Grenfell Inquiry. The role offers a competitive salary between £65,000 - £95,000, car allowance up to £6,000, a DOUBLE annual bonus & much more!
Main Responsibilities
- Partner with the service lead on the strategic development and expansion of the Building Safety and Fire service.
- Support and mentor a growing team, contributing to their development and success.
- Provide valuable insights and solutions across the property lifecycle, covering:
- Lender due diligence
- Planning Gateway One fire statements
- Government funding application management and delivery
- Building Safety Act Clerk of Works responsibilities
- Fire risk assessments during construction
- Development of fire safety strategies
- Preparation of Fire and Emergency Files
- Conducting third-party reviews
- Project monitoring for compliance and quality assurance
- Preparation of Safety Cases and Safety Case Reports
- Conducting fire door, compartmentation, and fire stopping surveys
- Completing EWS1 forms and fire risk appraisals of external walls (FRAEW)
- Managing projects from inception to completion
- Develop persuasive client proposals.
- Work with other service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships.
- Engage in business development to grow the client portfolio.
- Provide strategic industry insights and thought leadership.
Your Profile
- Strong experience in fire safety, fire engineering, and/or fire science.
- Proven success in building and maintaining client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects to resolution.
- Team management and mentoring experience.
- Chartered Engineer status is preferred, with support available to achieve chartership if needed.
- Background in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation and growth.
- Dedication to advancing building safety and fire service standards.
