Role Overview: We are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor for our Cambridge Building Consultancy team. The role includes advising clients on building surveys, dilapidations, defect analysis, license for alteration assessments, schedules of condition, contract administration, and project management across commercial, retail, healthcare, and heritage sectors. You'll also coordinate portfolio projects for national clients and engage in client development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle professional tasks: dilapidations, TDD acquisition surveys, schedules of condition, PPMs, and reinstatement cost assessments.
- Advise clients on technical, financial, legal, environmental, building regulation, and restoration matters.
- Prepare detailed instructions for external consultants.
- Provide project services including feasibility studies, cost consultancy, and contract administration.
- Liaise with clients and develop business relationships.
- MRICS Chartered status
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High computer literacy
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Full clean driving license
- Car allowance
