As a member of our Domestic Major Loss team, you will manage a portfolio of domestic major and complex losses, typically valued over £100,000. We currently have an opening for an experienced domestic major loss adjuster in the London, South East and Kent area.
You will join a collaborative team environment, supported by our extensive network of major loss adjusters and dedicated office-based technical and managerial support. We provide necessary systems training and support for remote (home) working.
Our adjusters often balance home and office-based work, promoting a healthy work/life balance. The role involves client contact and meetings to discuss complex and technical issues, requiring engagement with various internal and external specialists. Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple parties are essential.
Our office offers bright, open spaces for collaboration and individual work, fostering an ideal environment for interaction with colleagues.
You should have:
- Experience as a domestic claims adjuster, ideally with CILA status or evidence of progression towards qualification. We may consider less experienced adjusters who demonstrate excellence in core technical skills and communication.
- Proven ability to handle domestic losses exceeding £100,000, or a keen desire to progress to this level as the next stage in your career.
- An excellent market reputation for technical ability and customer service, with a commitment to delivering high-level service to all stakeholders.
- Experience handling complex and major domestic losses on a chargeable time basis, or the ability and ambition to advance to this level.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interpret information and data quickly and accurately.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
