Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a broad range of building surveying services, including condition surveys, technical due diligence, and defect diagnosis.
- Support project work such as refurbishments, fit-outs, and maintenance, from concept design through to completion.
- Prepare detailed specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation.
- Provide professional services including dilapidations, party wall matters, and building reinstatement valuations.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders, ensuring expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
- Offer expert advice on building regulations, planning applications, and statutory compliance matters.
- Assist in business development activities, supporting senior team members in client engagement and growth initiatives.
- Recently chartered or intermediate-level Building Surveyor (MRICS preferred).
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in delivering both professional and project-led building surveying services.
- Strong technical expertise with a thorough understanding of building regulations, construction methods, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools is desirable.
