Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver innovative fire safety strategies in line with UK regulations and industry standards.

  • Conduct fire risk assessments and provide expert fire engineering advice to clients and project teams.

  • Use fire modelling and analysis tools (e.g., FDS, PyroSim) to support design decisions.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to integrate fire safety solutions into projects.

  • Support junior engineers through mentorship and technical guidance.

  • Contribute to research, technical development, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Experience in fire engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.

  • Strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation, building regulations, and industry standards.

  • Proficiency in fire modelling and risk assessment tools.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Chartered or working towards chartership with a relevant professional body (e.g., IFE, CEng).
