Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver innovative fire safety strategies in line with UK regulations and industry standards.
Conduct fire risk assessments and provide expert fire engineering advice to clients and project teams.
Use fire modelling and analysis tools (e.g., FDS, PyroSim) to support design decisions.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to integrate fire safety solutions into projects.
Support junior engineers through mentorship and technical guidance.
Contribute to research, technical development, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience in fire engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
Strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation, building regulations, and industry standards.
Proficiency in fire modelling and risk assessment tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Chartered or working towards chartership with a relevant professional body (e.g., IFE, CEng).
