We are seeking a highly motivatedSenior Building Surveyor to join our clients growing team based in Milton Keynes. You will primarily work on projects in Central & North London and surrounding areas, providing expert support to our Surveying team on a variety of exciting and diverse projects.

Your Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and provide advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of all types of buildings and sites.
Perform acquisition surveys, condition reports, measured surveys, and defect investigations.
Prepare detailed reports, schedules of works, and work specifications.
Design and oversee works using recognised building contracts, ensuring compliance with technical standards.
Independently manage large-value projects, offering professional consultancy services across all aspects.
Apply relevant legislation, such as health and safety, party wall, building regulations, and planning.
Promote the company’s services and brand, contributing to business development and securing future projects.
Mentor and provide guidance to APC candidates, fostering their growth and understanding.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety regulations, and administrative requirements.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
MRICS Accreditation.
Extensive knowledge of consulting engineering, surveying, architectural & planning practices, with an awareness of the latest statutory requirements and technical publications.
Expertise in defect diagnosis and report writing.
Insurance repair project experience is preferred.
Strong negotiation, supervisory, and leadership skills.
Proven experience in managing large-scale projects to deadlines and within budget.
A solid understanding of CDM Regs 2015, Party Wall, and Building Regulation legislation.
Excellent mathematical, scientific, and IT skills, with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
