About the Role:
As a Building Surveyor, you will be able to work well within an experienced team of Building Surveyors as well as being entrusted to take sole responsibility for managing your own projects from inception through to completion. This role offers a blend of traditional building surveying and project management, encompassing diverse sectors and building types. You'll strengthen your expertise to evaluate building conditions and provide improvement advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct building surveys and inspections, including condition surveys, dilapidation surveys, and pre-acquisition surveys, and collect information to later be recorded.
- Prepare and produce detailed reports and tender packages.
- Meet with other professionals, clients, customers, and others to obtain and provide information relating to land, property, or construction, whilst maintaining professionalism and consistency.
- Undertake costings, measurements, and/or valuations using data collected from your research.
- Help to identify defects and advise on remedial works.
- Willingness to travel across the region to fulfil the requirements of the role.
- Ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others.
