About the Role:
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Project Director & Office Lead Or AD ready to take that step towards leading their own team, to establish and expand our Birmingham operations. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a new office, driving growth, recruitment, and project delivery from the outset. With the support of a highly experienced team, you will be instrumental in delivering excellence across various sectors, including façade remediation, residential, and commercial schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Establishment and Growth: Lead the development of the Birmingham office, formulating and executing strategies to drive business growth and market presence.
- Project Leadership: Oversee and manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering relationships with clients and stakeholders to expand our portfolio in the Birmingham region.
- Team Recruitment and Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous professional growth.
- Financial Management: Manage the office's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
The consultancy has a proven track record of delivering landmark projects that have significantly contributed to the UK's built environment. Currently, there is a strong pipeline of work within the Midlands region, including commercial office refurbishments, residential & mixed use developments, Façade replacements & much more, This role will encompass current delivery of these, but you will be tasked with growing the division & as such we would be keen to speak to people with experience in all sectors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior project management role within the consultancy sector, with a focus on façade remediation, residential, and commercial projects.
- Demonstrated success in establishing and growing an office or regional presence, including team recruitment and business development.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial management within a consultancy environment.
- Relevant professional qualifications and memberships (e.g., RICS, RIBA, CIOB) are highly desirable.
- Competitive salary ranging from £80,000 to £120,000, depending on experience.
