Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the development of fire safety strategies for diverse, high-profile projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
- Act as the technical authority for fire safety design, fire risk assessments, and compliance with building regulations and standards.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, architects, and industry professionals, to ensure excellence in service delivery.
- Drive the growth of the fire engineering division, contributing to business development and the acquisition of new projects.
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Represent the company at industry events, maintaining and enhancing the firm’s reputation as a leader in fire engineering.
- A degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in fire safety engineering, with a strong track record of leading projects and managing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire clients and team members.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen, with experience in developing client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
- Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., IFE) is highly desirable.
