Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake a broad range of building surveying services, including condition surveys, technical due diligence, and defect diagnosis.
  • Assist with project work such as refurbishments, fit-outs, and maintenance, from initial design to project completion.
  • Prepare specifications, schedules of works, and tender documentation.
  • Deliver professional services such as dilapidations, party wall matters, and building reinstatement valuations.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Provide advice on building regulations, planning applications, and statutory compliance.
  • Contribute to the growth of the business by supporting senior team members with client development and engagement.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Recently chartered or intermediate level Building Surveyor (MRICS preferred).
  • Relevant degree in building surveying or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in both professional and project-based building surveying services.
  • Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with building regulations, construction methods, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or project management software, is desirable.
