Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and delivery of fire engineering strategies for high-profile projects.
Provide technical leadership, ensuring compliance with UK fire safety regulations and industry standards.
Oversee fire risk assessments, modelling, and performance-based fire safety design.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on fire engineering matters.
Lead and mentor a team of fire engineers, supporting their technical and professional development.
Contribute to business development, including client engagement, project proposals, and securing new work.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, integrating fire safety into wider building designs.
Requirements:
Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Significant experience in fire engineering, with a strong consultancy background.
In-depth knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, building regulations, and industry best practices.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to contribute to business growth.
Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
Chartered or working towards chartership with a relevant professional body (e.g., IFE, CEng).
