Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of life sciences projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Coordinate project teams, including consultants, contractors, and stakeholders, to achieve seamless project delivery.
- Oversee project programmes, budgets, risk assessments, and progress reporting.
- Lead procurement activities, including tendering and contract administration, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards.
- Support client decision-making with expert advice on design, construction, and project management.
- Monitor and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams and other service lines to deliver integrated property solutions for clients.
- Degree in a relevant discipline such as project management, construction, or engineering.
- Ideally, chartered status or working towards professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB).
- Proven experience managing life sciences projects, including laboratories, R&D facilities, or similar environments.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, with the ability to manage complex and technical projects.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and controlling costs effectively.
- Knowledge of the specific challenges and requirements of the life sciences sector.
