As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key supporting role in the delivery of construction and property projects from inception through to completion. Working alongside experienced Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll gain hands-on experience in all aspects of project delivery. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress their career in project management within a consultancy environment and who is working towards chartership.

Key Responsibilities
Support the management of multiple projects across various sectors and property types.
Assist in project planning, programming, and risk management.
Contribute to contract administration duties, including assisting the Employer’s Agent.
Support feasibility studies, design coordination, and technical reporting.
Monitor site progress, attend meetings, and help track project performance.
Assist with budget tracking, document control, and stakeholder communication.
Contribute to business development activities, proposals, and client presentations.
Learn from and collaborate with senior team members across disciplines.
Key Requirements
Degree qualified in Project Management, Building Surveying, Construction Management or similar.
Actively working towards chartered status (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM) – full support provided.
1–3 years’ experience in a consultancy or client-side project support role.
Basic understanding of construction contracts such as JCT or NEC.
Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with project management software (e.g., MS Project).
